FAIRFIELD, Calif – Mango Furniture Inc. made its debut at the recent Las Vegas Market with a line of solid wood dining, bedroom and occasional furniture.
Named after the wood species that is used in much of the line, the company was recently formed by Yogesh and Shruti “Rosie” Sharma.
They started accessories and furniture specialist Home Accents around 2003 and recently decided to separate the residential furniture segment under the new brand, Mango Furniture, which is owned by their daughter Shreya Sharma. Rosie and Yogesh Sharma continue to own Home Accents, which primarily sells accessories.
Made in India, the Mango solid wood line also uses solid acacia, combining the wood species with mixed media elements such as metal, top-grain leather and resin. The line also overs upholstery including stationary sofas and chairs.
Dining tables retail from$1,199 to about $1,999. while beds retail from- $1,899 to about $3,299.
At the winter market; the company showed about 20 new pieces. The remainder of the space features inline bestsellers and other new pieces from October.
Rosie Sharma said while the name was new the response was positive both from customers who have known the Sharma family over the years and from new prospects.
Mango Furniture also plans to show at the April High Point Market but is still deciding on a specific location.
